Hello, my name is Yofune Shirakawa(as a handle name). If you need, please call me Yofune. I have something to say to those who can read English, especially to New York State Senators. So I decided to write my blog in English.
To all of the New York State Senators;
You unanimously passed this resolution on Jan 29, 2013. First, you should confirm the content for yourselves.
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION memorializing a Memorial Monument in the State of New York that pays tribute to those who have become known to the world as 'Comfort Women'

This is the correct text, isn't it? Needless to say, I only copied and pasted the text from the link above. There can't be any mistake.
To those who can read English all over the world;
First, all of you must remember that New York State Senator (of course in the U.S.) unanimously passed this resolution on Jan 29, 2013, this year. In fact, this resolution is based on the utterly mistaken facts. In this point, I have to point out that all the NY state senators that supported this resolution are, simply put, only poor, miserable and genuine idiots.
So, the resolution itself is sure to lower the status of the NY Senate and make those who can read English doubt the NY State Senators' level of intelligence. Of course, because of this fact and resolutions, many people who can read English all over the world will regard NY State Senators as idiots, and tragically loopy.
I will tell you the reason for it. But before explaining the reason, secondly, I would like you to reconfirm the (probably) popular notions about Japan below.
If some of those who can read English (mainly American, almost all of Koreans and Chinese) believe that
・During WW2, Japanese Army forcefully kidnapped or coerced many young (mainly) Korean women,
・Japanese Army compelled the women to become so-called "comfort women",
and
・Japanese Army tortured them during the war,
(In short, the notions are the background all the NY State Senators have.)
probably the beliefs will derive from only a presumption that the Japanese are a bad people, or from thinking of as true the so-called "Statement by the Chief Cabinet Secretary Yohei Kono on the result of the study on the issue of "comfort women"" (in short, we will call it "Kono's statement").
You can check the English version of Kono's statement from this link:
The Government of Japan has been conducting a study on the issue of wartime "comfort women" since December 1991. I wish to announce the findings as a result of that study.
As a result of the study which indicates that comfort stations were operated in extensive areas for long periods, it is apparent that there existed a great number of comfort women. Comfort stations were operated in response to the request of the military authorities of the day. The then Japanese military was, directly or indirectly, involved in the establishment and management of the comfort stations and the transfer of comfort women. The recruitment of the comfort women was conducted mainly by private recruiters who acted in response to the request of the military. The Government study has revealed that in many cases they were recruited against their own will, through coaxing, coercion, etc., and that, at times, administrative/military personnel directly took part in the recruitments. They lived in misery at comfort stations under a coercive atmosphere.
As to the origin of those comfort women who were transferred to the war areas, excluding those from Japan, those from the Korean Peninsula accounted for a large part. The Korean Peninsula was under Japanese rule in those days, and their recruitment, transfer, control, etc., were conducted generally against their will, through coaxing, coercion, etc.
Undeniably, this was an act, with the involvement of the military authorities of the day, that severely injured the honor and dignity of many women. The Government of Japan would like to take this opportunity once again to extend its sincere apologies and remorse to all those, irrespective of place of origin, who suffered immeasurable pain and incurable physical and psychological wounds as comfort women.
It is incumbent upon us, the Government of Japan, to continue to consider seriously, while listening to the views of learned circles, how best we can express this sentiment.
We shall face squarely the historical facts as described above instead of evading them, and take them to heart as lessons of history. We hereby reiterated our firm determination never to repeat the same mistake by forever engraving such issues in our memories through the study and teaching of history.
As actions have been brought to court in Japan and interests have been shown in this issue outside Japan, the Government of Japan shall continue to pay full attention to this matter, including private researched related thereto.
(end of text)
But Yohei Kono has to admit the mistake in this statement. Especially, the main mistake is in this text:
>The recruitment of the comfort women was conducted mainly by private recruiters who acted in response to the request of the military. The Government study has revealed that in many cases they were recruited against their own will, through coaxing, coercion, etc., and that, at times, administrative/military personnel directly took part in the recruitments. They lived in misery at comfort stations under a coercive atmosphere.
So, as the counterpart now, the Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga has to modify the mistaken point and according to the modification, he has to revise all of the state from now on.
Sorry to have kept you waiting pretty long. The mistaken point and decisive reason for the mistake are in the official (and confidential) document below:
Japan Center for Asian Historical Records; National Archives of Japan (English Version) Needless to say, this site's domain clearly indicates that this is part of Japanese governmental body.
Reference code:C04120263400 (If you want to see below yourself, you have to visit the site and input this code in the searching area.)
You can look at these 3 images of the confidential document that soldiers only within the Japanese Army could read.

Below is my original translation of this document. Compare it with the one(s) that Koreans or Chinese gave you(of course if you have). (To Japanese who can read and write English: if there are semantic, spelling or grammatical errors, please point them out in the comment area below. Only, you have to gain Goo ID by registering. Of course, whoever can get Goo ID can comment there. But please do not forget to decide your handle name and write it in the name area.)
Subject: concerning the recruitment of women who works for comfort stations of army
Confidential, only within Japanese Army ( for Chinese and Korean area )
・An ultimatum from the aid to the troops in the north China and to the middle China
(※at that time, North and South Korea were part of Japan)
In recruiting women on site in order to set up comfort stations in the areas of the Sino-Japanese war and other places,
we hear that there are some people who ,by repeatedly taking advantage of the name of "approved by the Army", accordingly destroy the honor and trust of the Japanese Army and at the same time might be misunderstood by ordinary people,
or some people who gather women under no control ,such as by way of war correspondents or those who visits the Japanese Army for compliment, and accordingly could cause social disorders,
or some soldiers or their senior officers don't select appropriate recruiters, and accordingly the inappropriate recruiters gather women like a kidnapping way, and accordingly there are some recruiters who are accused or questioned by the police or (military or police) authorities.
In light of these cases or facts, we can easily expect there are many recruiters that have to be checked as appropriate recruiters of women.
So, we have to order that,
in recruiting women for comfort stations, the departments concerned on site itself control the recruiting process, and select the recruiters properly (or systematically),
and furthermore,
in implementing this process, the departments concerned exchange information closely with the military police and the police,
they take as many measures as possible in order to keep the honor and trust of the Japanese Army and not to cause any unnecessary frictions with the site.
Make sure that the orders above should be followed without mistakes.
Confidential, The Japanese Army in the direction of China, No.735
March 4, 1938
(end of text)
Above all, you have to note that this document was confidential. So, what is written in it is, of course, true. If confidential documents had contained some false things, the confidential document themselves would have had no senses to all the soldiers and officers in the Japanese army. This is simply a matter of logic.
On its basis, we can logically deduct from this part that the Japanese Army, during WW2, hasn't coerced or forced Korean and Chinese women into the so-called "comfort women".
>we hear that there are some people who ,by repeatedly taking advantage of the name of "approved by the Army", accordingly destroy the honor and trust of the Japanese Army and at the same time might be misunderstood by ordinary people,
If the Japanese Army in fact forcefully gathered or coerced women as the so-called comfort women,
or else, tried to do it secretly, the Japanese Army officers couldn't use the expression in the confidential documents.
>might be misunderstood by ordinary people,
As I have repeatedly pointed out, this document was confidential. Only the soldiers or officers who belonged to the Japanese Army were able to read this document. So, If the Japanese Army tried to do it secretly, this phrase has to be like this:
>(this plan or order) might be known to ordinary people,
But, we can find no equivalent phrase(s) or word(s) in this confidential document. So, at that time, the Japanese Army didn't recruit women forcefully, nor did it(they) coerce women into so-called "comfort stations".
So, in Kono's statement, this part is clearly mistaken and accordingly ;) ,the counterpart today, Yoshihiro Suga has to amend at least this part.
>The Government study has revealed that in many cases they were recruited against their own will, through coaxing, coercion, etc., and that, at times, administrative/military personnel directly took part in the recruitments. They lived in misery at comfort stations under a coercive atmosphere.
If there were the cases of "against their own will, through coaxing, coercion, etc.", it was the human traffickers that are to blame. As I quoted above, the administrative/military personnel had to examine, arrest, and accuse the human trafficker. So, if there was "a coercive atmosphere", its responsibility is not on administrative/military personnel, but on the human traffickers who made the atmosphere. Koreans and Chinese firstly accuse not the Japanese Army but the human traffickers, who were mere money monger civilians and many of whom were Koreans and Chinese themselves! Furthermore, human traffickers had to be examined, arrested, or accused by the Japanese Army.
Because of these deductions, I (and those who read my blog favorably) am definitely able to say that Kono's statement has to be revised, or perhaps, denied once and made again; this time "historically and logically correctly".
So, again, to all of the New York State Senators;
Who is it that doesn't study "history"? You? or us? Before regarded as genuine idiots and tragically loopy from all over the world (except Koreans and Chinese who were taught to hate Japan and keep hating Japan accordingly even now). Oh, I have forgotten it. Can't you understand even now that what Korean or Chinese lobbyists say is definitely false, at least about what leads to the hate to Japan? That's why you are idiots and loopy.

This is Tony Avella, who raised the resolution above. Needless to say, he is also a NY State Senator.
(These sentences below were translated from subtitles on this Japanese TV news)
Q: Why is this resolution needed in New York State?
A: This resolution will make Japanese government apologize, and it will resolve the problem.
Moreover, it will make the problem known to the world widely.
These remarks are much too laughable. What kind of problem do you and all of the NY Senators have? It is the stupidity that enables all of you to believe what Korean and Chinese lobbyists say without your own thorough research. Rather, This problem is far more problematic as "civil servants", I think. I can't help laughing ironically.

その中で、少しずつ外国人の方々(those who can read English all over the world)にも見ていただけるようなブログになれば、と思っている。
